Why a milk tooth crown may be needed

Milk teeth have an important job: they keep the space for the permanent teeth. If they are lost too early, this can have long-term consequences for the position of the teeth.

What crowns are there for children?

At Zahnfine Kids we use what are known as prefabricated children's crowns. They are usually made of medical stainless steel or tooth-coloured resin, depending on the situation and your preference.

Metal crowns are especially durable and ideal for back teeth.
White crowns made of tooth-coloured material are less noticeable, especially on the front teeth.

The crown is individually adjusted and firmly cemented onto the tooth. The procedure is quick and safe, and is usually done in a single session.
